This was the one that I waited for but never came. Ericsson Communicator (http://www.cellular.co.za/phones/ericsson/archive/ericsson_communicator_platform.htm) It was way ahead of its time.

The initial report said they were waiting for a battery powerful enough to handle the power issue. That is history now, but they just never came through

This was one of the initial designs of the P800 before Sony and Ericsson merged. Then Sony did a redesign, but it still runs the same OS (Symbian UIQ) as it would have if Ericsson had released it.
What was ever wrong with paper?

Lovefist, I really cant work with paper. I write lots of important stuff on different papars and pages then forget how to get to it. with PPC, I write than search by word and go to my important notes. Its, just my reason for not using paper.
On the P800, it really didnt match the Communicator design. I boght and got rid of the P800 in a few days. The orginal communicator was supposed to match the performance of the Psion range which I found very powerful - Just my thought.
Yes I also heard about it, it was delayed, or never released due to commercial issues maybe.
