My reports on the experience and problems I've had with the new Everex E500 have cast Everex in a bad light. In fairness, I want to report the positive things that happen too.
Today I was contacted by Everex and had an exchange of emails with them. They have arranged for the Kuwait Agent (where I live) to deal with my faulty device. I purchased the E500 in Dubai over the weekend. The Kuwait service manager is in Dubai will be back to work in Kuwait on Sunday.
As a general learning for everyone, you should purchase these things in your home of residence. Agents in general only service those units purchased within their area. That was a mistake I made when I bought it in Dubai. Live & learn.
Sunday evening I will report the final outcome. But I am encouraged that Everex does indeed offer Tech Services.
