Need help with Messenger please : (

hello everyone, I cant get me messenger to work http://pocketpcdubai.com/Forums/smileys/sad.gif everytime I try I get this message(Logon to MSN Messenger Service failed because the service is not compatible with this version of the program)
Please Tell me what to do ?
I tried while connected to the internet and gprs too , nothing happend!

You will have to install MSN® Messenger Update for Microsoft Windows for Pocket PC/Pocket PC Phone Edition 2003, here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/msnmessenger/pocketpc.mspx

(You should install it in Main Memory)

If you are in the UAE you will have to do the following settings to get MSN to work: (you will do some changes According to your service provider)

Just go to: Settings > Connections > Under Etisalat choose "Manage existing connections" > choose "m-Net" or "Wasel m-Net" whatever applies to you > Edit > Next > Next > Advanced > Servers > choose: "use specified server address" and set DNS: 194.170.1.6 and alt DNS: 194.170.1.7 > OK > Finish

Also under proxy settings you will have to unselect where is says "This network connects to proxy..." so you don't use any proxy.

Mohd, I didnt need to do all that, since I had the Etisalat chosen during startup, all I had to do was put in my username and password after doing the MSN update.
