hey people.... i'm not being able to decide which phone to choose- the nokia 7710 or 9500 . i dont have use of wi-fi nor fax. my primary uses are internet browsing, entertainment, music and games. please help me.... thank you
I have used both the phones personally and these are my thoughts.
The 9500 is a gud office tool, primarily for excel sheets and sending out emails as the keyboard is a big plus. But the largeee size, and the slowwww OS and the flimsy build is a big turnoff. Also, internet browsing is a pain as pages take a lonnnnnggggg time to load, howeva fast ur connection is as page rendering takes a lot of time.
The 7710....ughhhh....Please, i repeat....pleaseeee do not waste ur money on this device. It is horrrrrrrribly slow and verrrrrrrrrry un-ergonomic. Inputting text is a problem as the screen res is 640x200 just like the commie (or 640x320 ????). I suggest, u have a play with it before u buy it....U will be able to decide in jussss about less than 60 seconds.

Forget about the 9500 .. if you're interested in such operating system and form factor, u should go for the 9300.. i think its size is quite reasonable.
As for the 7710, i have no idea http://pocketpcdubai.com/Forums/smileys/smile.gif
The communicator range also have their own share of problems, for instance, opera just crashes when u try to open complex pages (even simple ones at times). White screen Lag is another common problem. I am sure people would not appreciate waiting for 5 seconds evrytime they want to open their inbox. Some people who have a large contact database have experienced lag's of about 1 minute.
No BT voice dial, No T9 on the outside. S40 is very limited....list jus goes on.
Simple words....No perfect device out there, and never will be.

treo 650!!!!
A camera??? Is that really a criteria??? Well, if its there its gud, but if it isnt then its really not a reason for one to disregard a good device. Either ways, the camera's on most of the devices are absolute rubbish. Gimme a faster processor or more RAM over a camera anyday.
@Space,
Treo650 is out, did u get urself one? How u likin it? Impressions?
